Bookmarks
Today was the last day of classes for me, so now the final death scramble begins in earnest. As I was working on an essay today and bookmarking articles to my favorites, I was getting annoyed at how long it was taking me to scroll down to the bottom of my zillions and zillions of bookmarks. I scanned over them and realized I don’t remember visiting half of these websites at all.
Which brings me to the topic of this post: during the insanity of my next two weeks, I am going to allow myself a moment every once in awhile to share some of the best bookmark choices I’ve made over the past few years on this good old laptop.
Starting with these three:
- The Random Word Generator. (Make sure to select “random paragraph” before you start generating, and get ready for never-ending fun.)
- Name Fashion: The Four Generation Rule. Names go through cycles of being in and out of fashion, and it takes at least four generations for names to start sounding cool again.
- Color Vision. What colors look like to color-blind people! (If you took Neuroscience 101 at Skidmore you’ve already seen this.)
